It depends on what you need done and where it is. My quotes are given as a range, not a flat number. This has a number of benefits for us both.Do we need to meet in person?

You will need to respond to my quote with a binding statement - this statement can be copy/pasted from the quote PDF for ease. You can also print and sign a physical copy if you prefer. -
When do you require a deposit?
14 days prior to the start date. In some scenarios I will require a deposit immediately to book you in.How much is the deposit?
Between 0 - 35%. Deposits under $250 may be sent digitally.Are Deposits refundable?
No, they are not. They cover my upfront costs for materials and protect me if the job falls through. -
How do I pay you?
I generally only take cash or check. Services like CashApp are situational, but I tend to avoid them.When is final payment due?
Upon completion of the job.
If we’ve agreed in advance, I may allow a deferred payment.Where would I send payment?
In the event you’re paying after the completion date, I will provide a mailing address for a check, cash, or money order. -
What paint do you use?
I use Sherwin Williams paint mainly, but I can use any well-known brand upon request.Who buys the paint?
I prefer to buy the paint. It’s easier for us both and I can get discounts to help lower the cost of the work for you.Who picks the colors?
I prefer that you pick the colors, and I can give guidance. A full color consultation can be arranged if needed.
We will discuss options like paint sheen and type along the way. -
How do I get on your schedule?
Once I’ve sent a quote and you approve it, I will schedule you in. In some cases, I require a deposit to reserve a booking (see the “Quotes” tab).What if I need to cancel or postpone?
Usually I can accommodate minor shifts of about a day, but otherwise we will reschedule for the earliest open date that’s available. -
What do I need to do before you arrive?
1) Please have the spaces to be painted tidied. Please do not leave messes that will obstruct my work.
2) I plan to move furniture, remove outlet covers, etc. for you. Doing some of these simple tasks yourself will make the job marginally quicker/cheaper, but please do not do repairs.
